Bill Beachy

Bill Beachy has been teaching in Howard County, Maryland, for 41 years and has taught band and strings at the high school, middle school, and elementary school levels. Bill has published feature articles in the MENC Journal, The Instrumentalist, and the MMEA Journal. As a composer of beginner's music, he has written over 100 compositions for band and strings that have been performed throughout the USA, Canada, Bermuda, and England.

Bill's educational innovations include "Leveled Arranging," the "Stars & Stripes Motivational System," and "Simplified Scheduling." Bill has a B.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a M.Ed. from Towson State University and has also attended Bridgewater College in VA, The Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, University of Maryland College Park, and the College of Notre Dame.
