Below Grade One Strings pieces consist of two types: Open-String Songs, and Echo Songs. All come with piano accompaniments.
Open-String Songs -- are for beginning string students. Also included are optional (more difficult) descant parts.
Echo Songs -- are "call and response" songs where one student plays four measures and then the rest of the students play back the same four measures. These songs serve as the beginning string student's first use of fingering.
